FAB 107 · Burton-on-Trent · Operating today

Same-day semiconductor fabrication

Wafers in, working devices out — the same day. It is operating now at FAB 107, and it is the engine behind hardware that improves at closer to AI speed. Come and see it.

Today's AI

Software learns. Hardware stays fixed.

Today's AI improves through software. Models get better. Data gets better. Training gets better. But the hardware underneath is largely fixed — it changes every few years, every process node, every product generation.

The opportunity

What if the hardware could improve too?

Not every few years. Not every process node. Not every product generation — but every iteration cycle. That is the question this company exists to answer.

What happens when hardware becomes part of the learning loop?

The Self-Learning Loop

A learning environment where hardware takes part

The strategic asset is not any single chip. It is a system in which hardware participates in the learning process — each cycle improving on the last, with people in control throughout.

Perform. Hardware performs a task.

Measure. Results are measured.

Propose. Improvements are proposed; people approve them.

Manufacture. Improved hardware is built.

Repeat. The improved hardware runs the next cycle.

Why manufacturing matters

Rapid manufacturing makes the loop practical

Without fast manufacturing, the loop is too slow to matter. With same-day manufacturing, it becomes practical. So same-day manufacturing is not the product — it is the enabling infrastructure that makes hardware learning possible.

This runs today at FAB 107 — our blueprint facility in Burton-on-Trent. Its purpose is to run and prove the loop — production happens at the facilities franchised from it. It is the original working facility, and the model the rest are built from.

Why AI matters

Navigating an enormous design space

As manufacturing capability grows, the number of possible design choices becomes enormous — different materials, devices, memory structures, architectures and process combinations. AI becomes valuable because it helps decide which experiment should happen next. It does not replace engineering; it helps navigate an increasingly large space of choices, based on measured results.

The longer view

Where does value go when intelligence is everywhere?

Each wave of technology makes the layer beneath it abundant — documents, then websites, then code, now intelligence itself. When something becomes abundant, value migrates to whatever remains scarce.

Within the framework

Technologies that compound

The system has produced specific device technologies that reinforce one another — independent multipliers that reduce system complexity from several directions at once. They are examples of what the framework discovers and improves, not the main story. The main story is the system that finds and improves such technologies.

Always human-directed

AI proposes. People approve, modify or accelerate. Fast progress, kept in human hands.

Who this is for

Built for organisations that make things at the frontier

A demonstration is worth your time if you are:

  • An AI or hardware company that needs to iterate silicon faster
  • A defence prime or national security programme
  • A national or regional semiconductor initiative
  • An industrial manufacturer seeking sovereign capability
  • A research organisation working at the device frontier
  • An industrial investor or family office backing deep-tech

Probably not the right fit if you want:

  • Small-batch PCB or hobbyist prototyping
  • Consumer electronics assembly
  • Off-the-shelf chips in small volumes

If you are not sure, come and see it anyway — the demonstration makes the fit obvious quickly.
